CAMINOS Call for Proposals

CAMINOS returns in October 2021, and is currently seeking proposals from artists across Canada. The CAMINOS festival focuses on work-in-process from the Pan-American Diaspora, as well as Indigenous and culturally diverse artists.

CAMINOS is produced by Aluna Theatre in partnership with Native Earth Performing Arts.

“Caminos” translates as “many paths” and that’s what we embrace in curating this festival: we are interdisciplinary, intercultural, intergenerational, and multilingual.

This year, we will not be inside a theatre with audiences. We are inviting performance provocations within a physically distanced context – text, sound,  dance,  theatre,  video,  livestream,  zoom-call ~ you name it. We are open to all proposals, short or long-form. We plan for remote and digital presentations only.

Selected projects will receive presentation fees and technical / production support from Aluna.
