Radio Aluna Theatre brings Latinx-Canadian plays from the stage to your headphones.
Using the nostalgia of radio dramas with a podcast approach, join Aluna Theatre’s Artistic Director Beatriz Pizano as she curates and presents these compelling performance works. And stick around afterwards for a drink and a snack in Merendiando with Camila y Monica (Camila Diaz-Varela and Monica Garrido) while they attempt to desmenuzar the stories you just heard, accompanied by special guests.
Season 1 starts on February 16 2019 with a radio dramatization of Rosa Labordé’s award-winning play, LEO, in 3 episodes. Each episode is available in both English and Spanish.
Then stay tuned for conversations, interviews, and our radio dramatization version of Beatriz Pizano’s MADRE in the spring.
