Join the Virtual Theatre Challenge

Aluna Theatre and Native Earth Performing Arts’ 2021 festivals of works-in-process, CAMINOS and Weesageechak Begins to Dance, invite you to create performative responses to the festival’s works.

Here’s how to join the Virtual Theatre Challenge:

1. Book your ticket to one or more evenings of CAMINOS and/or Native Earth’s Weesageechak Begins to Dance festival (registration opens soon, festival runs Nov 16 – 27)

2. Record a short video (max 30 sec) responding to the work you saw, and upload it to your favourite social media platform.

Be sure to include the hashtag #CaminosWees2021 with your video!

A committee will select their favourite submission based on creativity, innovation and relevance. The winner will receive $100 and 2 tickets to an Aluna Theatre and Modern Times Stage Company’s upcoming production of ‘The House of Bernarda Alba’

The Virtual Theatre Challenge starts on October 12. Deadline to post is December 1, 2021.
