Announcing open auditions for “The Solitudes | Las Soledades”

Project: “The Solitudes | Las Soledades”
Directed by Beatriz Pizano
The Solitudes | Las Soledades is collective creation project based on Gabriel García Márquez’s “One Hundred Years of Solitude”, to be developed during 2018 and 2019 through a series of development workshops, and a final rehearsal/production phase. Production dates TBD, between the months of August and October 2019.
The piece envisions a cast of six female characters. Artists of all ages, ethnic and cultural identities are encouraged to submit. Dancers with a strong background in text-based work are welcome to apply. Artists submitting an application must be familiar with collective creation and ensemble work.
Please keep in mind that the project requires a long-term commitment.
Knowledge of a second language is an asset.

Those contacted for auditions will be seen during the week of January 8, 2018.
Further audition requirements will be sent to those selected for audition before December 31st.
