Applications to Caminos + Digital Lab now closed
March 1, 2023

CAMINOS 2023 returns this year with its 5th edition from September 26 to October 1st, presented in partnership with Factory Theatre. This festival of works-in-process has become an exciting platform for TransAmerican conversations as it celebrates IBPOC creators and creations, and those allies committed to diversity and equity practices.
“Caminos” translates as “many paths” and that’s what we embrace in curating this festival: we are interdisciplinary, intercultural, intergenerational, and multilingual. We are inviting performance provocations from across Canada in text, sound, dance, theatre, video, installations – you name it. We are open to all proposals.
Presentations will run for 20-30 minutes in length for in person performances, and a maximum of 10 minutes for digital works.
Selected projects will receive a presentation fee and technical / production support from Aluna including: rehearsal space at the Aluna studio; venue lighting designer (if needed); and a professional video documentation.
DEADLINE: MARCH 1st.
*Applications must be submitted before 11:59 p.m. on that date.*
No late submissions will be considered.
