A🇧🇷, 47 (OR) A, BRAZIL FLAG EMOJI, 47
A🇧🇷, 47 follows young, queer Brazilian-Canadian Cauã as he hooks up with and becomes romantically involved with a man more than twice his age, who is also Brazilian, and shares the same name as Cauã’s absent father. As their relationship progresses, Cauã finds himself in increasingly difficult states of mind and memories, but can’t get himself to cut ties with the man. A🇧🇷, 47 explores fatherlessness, grief, identity, love—or rather, the idea of it—and trauma.

TAURA
TAURA is a twenty minute dance film created by Inamorata Dance Collective that invokes the spirit of the bull from the matador’s ring, incorporating flamenco and contemporary dance, percussion, poetry and flute. TAURA originated in the question, what if instead of becoming matadors, we became bulls? A grounded and personal lens into the nature of the pasture, capture and death of the bulls in Spain, we explore flamenco outside of its traditional form through the lens of the Latinx diaspora and the natural world.
