Maril\u00f3 con sede en Hamilton, Ontario, en el 2018 recibi\u00f3 el premio de artista teatral establecido por parte de los \u201cHamilton Arts Award\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fue la Directora Art\u00edstica y fundadora de Alameda Theatre Company, una compa\u00f1\u00eda dedicada a desarrollar el nuevo trabajo de dramaturgos latinx canadienses, y actualmente Maril\u00f3 est\u00e1 obteniendo su doctorado en Estudios de Teatro y Performance en la Universidad de York. Tambi\u00e9n es la escritora de nuestra pr\u00f3xima presentaci\u00f3n del Studio Series, El Retorno \/ I Return, una obra que explora la familia, el exilio y la revoluci\u00f3n, y viaja al coraz\u00f3n de la historia de Am\u00e9rica Latina.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En esta entrevista hablamos sobre la identidad Latinx en Norteam\u00e9rica, el m\u00e9todo de creaci\u00f3n de Mar\u00eda Irene Forn\u00e9s, escribir personajes de diferentes razas como dramaturga y sus formas de desarrollar una pr\u00e1ctica de escritura.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La directora art\u00edstica de Aluna Theatre, Beatriz Pizano, dirigir\u00e1 la pr\u00f3xima presentaci\u00f3n del Studio Series escrita por Maril\u00f3.
