Adriana es una trabajadora de hotel mexicana, quien se ve afectada por la muerte de su padre. Sara es una invitada de boda canadiense que guarda un viejo secreto. Un encuentro fortuito entre las dos permite a ambas enfrentar traumas pasados y decidir activamente sobre su futuro. Una revisión íntima de lo que puede pasar cuando la solidaridad femenina se encuentra en la frontera entre el Norte y el Sur globales.

Acerca del Artista

Christine Quintana is an actor, playwright, and co-Artistic Producer of Delinquent Theatre.  Christine received the 2017 Siminovitch Protege Prize for Playwriting from Marcus Youssef, and was the Urjo Kareda Emerging Artist Resident at Tarragon Theatre. She is the 2018 Playwright in Residence at Tarragon Theatre. Creation/performing highlights include Never The Last (co-created with Molly MacKinnon), produced by Delinquent Theatre, recipient of 5 Jessie Richardson Theatre Award nominations including Outstanding Production and Outstanding New Script; Selfie (commissioned by Théâtre la Seizième in French, and Young People’s Theatre in English, winner of the Dora Mavor Moore Award for Outstanding TYA Play, and the Sydney Risk Prize for Outstanding Script by an Emerging Playwright); writing, producing and performing in Stationary: A Recession-Era Musical (winner of the Jessie Richardson Theatre Award for Outstanding Musical, Small Theatre). Christine is a proud member of the Canadian Latinx Theatre Artist Coalition. She holds a BFA in Acting from the University of British Columbia.                               

Chelsea Haberlin is Interim Artistic Director of Neworld Theatre and Co-Artistic Producer of ITSAZOO Productions. As a director she has worked with: ITSAZOO Productions, Neworld Theatre, Arts Club Theatre, Firehall Arts Centre, Theatre SKAM, Pacific Theatre, Delinquent Theatre, and many more. Chelsea is forever searching for new ways to surprise and engage an audience and is particularly passionate about meaningful collaboration, immersive environments, community engagement and reconciliation. Chelsea has an MFA in directing from UBC and a BFA from UVic. She is the recipient of the Sydney J Risk award in directing, the Ray Michal award for outstanding body of work by an emerging director and a two-time winner and five-time Jessie Richardson Award nominee for Outstanding Direction.
