Michelle Polak

Michelle Polak is an award-winning interdisciplinary, actor, creator, writer, director and teacher. Originally from Montreal, she now lives in Toronto and is the dedicated mother of five teens. She has performed in acclaimed productions in Canada and around the world.

She graduated from the Ryerson Theatre School in 1995. As an international artist through La Mama, she trained with Tina Landau in the Viewpoints movement methodology. Michelle is recognized for her specificity working with the body through metaphor and physical prowess.

Michelle is currently in the process of completing her training to become a Gestalt psychotherapist at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto, as well as a contemporary end of life doula through the Institute of Traditional Medicine.
